Facebook made a change recently that limits new Facebook profiles and pages from being linked for 60 days.
Update on Facebook Livestreaming Policy
Starting June 10, 2024 Facebook is implementing new livestreaming policies:
Pages must have more than 100 followers to receive livestreams. The FB account you use to livestream must be at least 60 days old. (Pages and Profiles)These changes impact all livestreams to FB Pages – whether through the FB app or services like sidelineHD.
Your streams will NOT be affected if:- Your page has more than 100 followers
- You stream to your current FB Profile (non-professional) that is at least 60 days old
- You stream to YouTube
If you are able to link your Facebook Page, and you do not have 100 followers, we will automatically post your sidelineLIVE link or your YouTube link to your Facebook page on your behalf.
We offer sidelineLIVE feed for all teams, which is available immediately for live viewing. Your fans will see a watch live button on your team page when you are live. To learn more about sidelineLIVE, you can do so here.
