SidelineCAM can use advanced HEVC video compression on Apple devices. HEVC (also called H.265) offers the same quality at 1/2 of the bandwidth!
Follow these steps to activate "WebRTC HEVC" in iOS:
Note: This feature is only available in iOS Safari.
Go to SETTINGS >> Safari >> Advanced >> Experimental Features (or Feature Flags) >> WebRTC H265 Codec
That's a mouthful. Or just do this:
When done, click REFRESH on sidelineCAM. You should see a menu where you can select HEVC.
