In this article, we'll walk you through how to use Libero Rotation while scoring.
When scoring for Volleyball, your team may choose to use a libero. You'll want to make sure to setup your libero in your lineup so they rotate correctly. You can setup your libero either before or during the match!
The libero setting ensures they don't rotate to the front row during a normal rotation. Check out the video below to see how the Libero rotates using sidelineSCORE.
Here's a few helpful do's and don't's when using a Libero in a Volleyball match!
Libero Do's:
- Plays only in the back row.
- Replaces any back row player without notifying officials
- Serves in one rotation position per set
- Wears a contrasting uniform for easy identification
- Sets overhand from behind 3-meter line, provided the ball doesn't cross the net at a point above it's height.

- Hit from in front of the 3-meter line if the ball is entirely above the net.
- Attempt or participate in blocks.
- Serve in more than one rotation in a set
