When scoring hockey or lacrosse, sidelineSCORE uses the same scoring controller and scoreboard. This article will walk you through how to use sidelineSCORE for both Hockey and Lacrosse.

Someone else keeping score? Make sure you Invite an Additional Scorekeeper!

You will need two devices:  1 to stream and 1 to score.

Scoring Walkthrough

  1. Login to your sidelineHD account on the app
  2. Click on the Team Card of the team that you are going to score for
  3. On the Schedules tab of the team page, select the Game Card for the game you are scoring
    1. If you have not created the game yet, create the game now
  4. Select Start Scoring
  5. Select if you are the Home or Away team
  6. Increase the score for the team that scored the point
    • If the opponent scores
      1.  Select Opponent Goal
    • If your team scores
      1. Select Goal
      2. Select the player who scored
  7. Repeat steps 6 for every point scored but this time try to tag a Missed Shot, Won Face off, Lost Face off and Save as they happen!
    1. Select Missed Shot, Won Face off, Lost Face off or Save
    2. Select the player(s) who completed the action
      • If you do not know which player made the play, you do not have to tag a player; select the skip button. This still generates a clip for that play.
    3. Select Complete
  8. Continue scoring the game and tagging clips using the Goal, Missed Shot, Won Face off, Lost Face off and Save as they occur! When you come across a special moment you might want to clip that does not fall into one of these options, select the Star button in the lower right corner.
    • You can also indicate Good Play or Coachable moment and tag a player and press Complete.
  9. Press the Power Play box will display PP on the scoreboard next to that team's name. Unselect when no longer in a Power Play
  10. Once the period ends, select the period number next to the team names
  11. Select End Period
  12. Select Start Period when the next period begins and repeat steps 6 - 11
  13. Once the game ends, select Exit
  14. Select End Game
    • If the game has not ended, select Pause Scoring
    • You can only pause scoring for up to 3 days from game creation date. Games cannot be scored 3 days past scheduled date.
    • Ending the game is final and cannot be undone.

SLHD TIP
