Privacy Settings For Teams And Players

This document describes some of the available privacy controls for sidelineHD and who controls privacy settings for teams and players.

If you are a Player Manager and looking for information on the privacy settings for your claimed player, check out our Player Privacy Settings article.

Once a player is claimed, the claimed player's settings override the team player privacy settings for that specific player.

As a Team Manager, you have control over privacy settings for your team page, livestreams and public-facing pages. Through your team page, you can access your team's privacy settings and adjust settings like:

  • Player Names: Set if and how a player's name is displayed in the livestream and public team pages
  • Player Photos: Set if a player's profile photo is displayed in the livestream and public team pages
  • Clips: Set if unclaimed players' clips are viewable on public player pages (for sports still in beta)
Why can't I set a profile picture for my unclaimed players?

A player must be claimed before we accept a profile picture or profile information.

Shared Links

You can always share individual clips via a direct URL. Keep in mind, these URLs are considered unlisted so members of your team community may share or post these links to members outside of your team community.

Published Streams

If you are streaming to Facebook or YouTube, these streaming destinations will be linked from your team's sidelineHD page.

Sharing these external videos is controlled by the admin(s) of those Facebook and YouTube pages, and is outside of the control of sidelineHD. Learn more about Managing Content in YouTube.
