Privacy Settings For Teams And Players

This document describes some of the available privacy controls for sidelineHD and who controls privacy settings for teams and players 

 These settings help you control what is visible on the livestreams and public-facing pages. Once a player is claimed, the claimed player's settings override the team player privacy settings for that specific player.  A player must be claimed before we accept a profile picture or profile information.

  • Player Names. Set if / how player names are displayed in the livestream and public team pages/
  • Player Photos: Set if player profile photos are displayed in the livestream and public team pages
  • Clips.  Set is clips for unclaimed players are viewable on public player pages (for sports still in beta)

     

Team Managers Can Adjust Team Privacy Settings:

  1. Login to your sidelineHD Account
  2. Select your Team Card
  3. Select the Settings button
  4. Select Team Profile
  5. Select Privacy

Claimed Player Privacy Settings:

Claimed Player Privacy settings are controlled by their Player Managers

Shared Links:

Individual clips may be shared via a direct URL.  These URLs are considered unlisted so members of your team community may share or post these links to members outside of your team community.


Published Streams:

We publish livestreams to Facebook and YouTube and link to them from your team's sidelineHD page.  Sharing for these external videos is controlled by the admin(s) of those Facebook and YouTube pages, and is outside of the control of sidelineHD.
