Facebook Error Message

Error Message - Stream Error - Facebook expired your access token

FB stream FAILED: FB has expired your publishing access (or it's missing). To fix -->https://sidelineHD.com/fbStreamError

FB post ERROR: unable to post XXX YT link. FB expired publishing access to XXX. To fix -->https://sidelineHD.com/fbStreamError

FB stream FAILED:  // 'create live_videos: (#200) App does not have sufficient permission for the user for this action'
 

What to Do

You may receive a text message like this from sidelineHD if your Facebook access token has expired for your Facebook Page or profile. To fix this, you'll need to refresh your Facebook integration with sidelineHD by one of these three options: 

1. Renewing your Facebook Integration 
2. Unlinking and Relinking Facebook Integration
3. Remove Business Integrations

Renewing your Facebook Integration

1. Login to Facebook
2. Navigate to your Facebook Business Integration page
3. Select the > next to the expired integration
4. Select Renew
5. Select Save

Unlinking and Relinking Facebook

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. Select your Team Card
3. Select Settings
4. Select Stream Settings
5. Select Stream Publishing
6. Look for the Facebook Connection and select Unlink
7. Select + Facebook
8. Select Continue to sign in to your Facebook
9. Select the Facebook Page or Profile you want to link
10. Select Done

Remove Business Integrations

In some cases, you might need to remove business integrations, unlink, and relink Facebook.

1. Login to Facebook
2. Navigate to your Facebook Business Integration page
3. Select the > next to the integration
4. Select Remove
5. Select Save
6. Login to your sidelineHD account
7. Select your Team Card
8. Select Settings
9. Select Stream Settings
10. Select Stream Publishing
11. Look for the Facebook Connection and select Unlink
12. Select + Facebook
13. Select Continue to sign in to your Facebook
14. Select the Facebook Page or Profile you want to link
15. Select Done
