SidelineHD's Baseball and Softball Basic Model:
Simple, fast, and easy to use and is our legacy scoring controller and is ofter referred to as sidelineSCORE.
The Basic Model is simple scoreboard-style scoring with automatic clip creation when scoring batter outcomes.
SidelineSCORE Basic is designed like a Daktronics-style scoring controller. Think of it as a traditional scoreboard controller that also helps create clips of the action.
As the game happens, you use the scoring controller to update the game score and record batter outcomes. When you score an outcome, SidelineHD uses that information to generate the corresponding clip.
With Basic Scoring, you can:
- Update balls, strikes, outs, and runs
- Record batter outcomes and tag your players when they are involved in plays.
- Keep the scoreboard up to date
- Automatically generate clips based on the scoring events you enter
- Score the game without having to track every pitch in detail
- Opponents players are not tracked
Best for: Users who want a simple, scoreboard-style scoring experience while still generating clips from the game.

Using iScore with sidelineHD for Baseball and Softball
SidelineHD also supports scoring through iScore, a third party scoring app, allowing users who already use iScore to continue using their preferred scoring application while connecting their game with SidelineHD.
How iScore Works with SidelineHD
iScore is a separate, third-party scorekeeping app that pairs with SidelineHD.
All game creation and scoring is done within the iScore app.
Once paired, SidelineHD monitors your team's iScorecast feed to:
- Control the SidelineHD scoreboard
- Display who is batting and pitching
- Generate clips based on scoring events
Your iScore app will need to be paired with your SidelineHD team before you can use iScore for scoring.
With iScore, you can:
- Score your game using the iScore app
- Track detailed game information and statistics in iScore
- Connect your iScore scoring data with SidelineHD
- Use iScore's scoring interface instead of SidelineHD's scoring controllers
Best for: Experienced iScore users who prefer the iScore scoring system and want to use it with their SidelineHD stream.
Things to Know about iScore
