Team Setup

Creating a Team:

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. On your Home Page, next to My Teams, select the +
3. Select the sport you are streaming for
4. Select how you want to enter your team
   • If you choose to manually create your team, select Continue with manual team entry and go to step 5
   • If you choose to import the roster via TeamSnap (or USSSA or Perfect Game for Baseball and Softball), select how you will import your roster and follow the steps on screen.
5. Fill out your team information
   • Team Picture
   • Team Name
   • Team Level
   • If your team has players under 13
6. Select Continue

Great! Your team is now created! 

Creating your Roster:

Once your team is created, it's time to create your roster! When creating your roster, you'll have the option to add new players or rollover players from existing teams! 

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. Select the Team card for the team you are creating a roster for
3. On the Team Page, select Roster
4. Select + Add Player
5. Select how you want to add a player
   • If you are creating a new player, select Create New Player and go to step 6
   • If you are looking to Rollover Players, visit this article Rollover Player from Existing Teams you Manage
     • If you have had this player on a previous team, we suggest rollover their profile to avoid creating duplicate profiles.
6. Fill out the player information
   • First Name
   • Last Name
   • Jersey Number (optional)
   • Invite Player Manager (optional)
     • We suggest inviting a parent or guardian to manage the player. You can always invite Player Managers once the player is created.
7. Select Add
8. Next you'll have the option to Add more or finish set up by selecting Done

   • If you are choosing to add more players, select Add more and repeat the process

      

Link your team to Facebook and YouTube:

Once you get your team and roster created, make sure you link your team to Facebook and/or YouTube for viewers to watch your stream! We offer a live view of the stream on sidelineLIVE, however, this is only a live feed and not viewable afterwards.
