In this article, we will walk you through the steps of removing a player from your roster. In most cases, it is better to deactivate a player than to delete one. Deactivated players will be hidden from team and public pages.
Team Managers can only delete players who have not been previously claimed.
Team managers can deactivate a player at any time from the team roster tab.
Deactivated players are hidden from the team and public pages but still maintain the clips for those players.
Team Managers can reactivate players at any time.
Deactivating A Claimed Player From Your Roster:
- Login to your sidelineHD Account
Select your Team Card
Select the Roster Tab
Select the pencil icon next to the claimed player's name you want to deactivate from the roster
Select Deactivate this Player
The player is now in your deactivated list
Deleting An Unclaimed Player From Your Roster:
- Login to your sidelineHD Account
Select your Team Card
Select the Roster Tab
Select the Pencil icon next to the unclaimed player's name you want to remove from the roster
Select Remove or deactivate this player
Remove Player confirmation box will appear. You have two options:
Remove Player (Remove permanently deleted this player and all their clips- not recommended unless the player does not have any clips)
Deactivate instead (Deactivate is the safest option)
Select Remove to fully delete the player from your roster or Deactivate to deactivate the player.
