Why Rollover Players?
If you're creating a new team, you can easily rollover players from previously existing teams that you manage. This way you don't have to create a new player profile!
Rolling over a player is a great option because it:
- Eliminates the need to invite a parent to claim the player because the player is already claimed (if claimed)
- Rolled over players will have clips from ALL their teams on single player page (if claimed)
- Avoids having duplicate player profiles for the same player
- This is important because their clips will be spread out across the multiple profiles, instead of having them in one place
SLHD TIP
You can only rollover players from teams you currently manage and are under your account. If the team has been archived and is no longer under your account, you cannot use the rollover player feature for players on that team.
How to Rollover Players
Once you create your team, you can use our roster rollover tool to bring players over from a previous team that you managed.
- Login to your sidelineHD Account.
- Select your new Team.
- Select the Roster tab
- + Add Player
- Rollover Player
- Select the Team that the player(s) you want to roll over are currently on.
- Check the box next to each player you’d like to include. They will light up blue.
- When you’re finished, select Add Players.
SLHD TIP
Rolling over a player does not automatically update the primary team, that has to be updated by the player manager for the player (the person(s) who claimed the player)
