Create a Game

Creating a Game:

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. Navigate to your team's Schedule page
3. Select Add Game
4. Enter the time and date
5. Enter the opponent's name
6. Enter the game title (optionalI)
7. Enter a sanctioning partner if available (optional and only available for some sports)
8. Select Create 

Baseball, Softball and Volleyball allow users to set a lineup for their games once created. If you're streaming one of these sports continue below to learn how to set your lineups!

Setting a Lineup for Baseball/Softball:

1. Tap into a game card
2. Select Set lineup
3. Choose the players in the lineup in the order they are batting
   • If you have created a roster
     1. Select the purple checkbox next to the player's name to add them to the lineup
   • If you need to add new players
     1. select + Create player
     2. Add the player's information (First Name, Last Name, Jersey Number) and select Create player
     3. Once created, they will be automatically added to the lineup
4. After selecting all your players, select Next
5. Using the dots on the right side of the player card, rearrange the players into your desired order if they are not in the correct order. 
6. Select Set batting order
7. Next choose your pitcher by selecting that player from your lineup
8. Select Finish

If you need to make an adjustment to your lineup after it was set, you can adjust it on the fly once a game has started!

You only enter your team's lineup; we do not track the opponent's lineup, so there is no option to the enter the opponent lineup when using sidelineSCORE.

Setting a Lineup for Volleyball:

1. Tap into a game card.
2. Select Set lineup
3. Choose your players that will be your six starters
   • If you have created a roster
     1. Select the purple checkbox next to the player's name to add them to the lineup
   • If you need to add new players
     1. select + Create player
     2. Add the player's information (First Name, Last Name, Jersey Number) and select Create player
     3. Once created, they will be automatically added to the lineup
4. After selecting all your players, select Next
5. Next choose your liberos by selecting the player(s) from your lineup (optional ~ if you are using liberos)
6. Position your players.
   • To switch player positions:
     1. Select the player you want to move
     2. Select the position you want to move them to 
7. Once positions are set, select Finish Setup

You can still adjust player positions mid-match easily: 

• Tap ? or player # for subs
• Tap on-court players to switch
• Designate or change the Libero designation in settings tab.

Editing a Scheduled Game: 

1. Tap into the game card
2. Tap the pencil icon to edit the game information in this sheet (time, date, opponent etc.)
3. Tap Save

You can edit game information in this game sheet at anytime before or during the game. Once you end the game it is final, and information cannot be updated.
