The best part of livestream is sharing it with your audience so that friends and family can watch the stream wherever they are! Follow along below to learn the best way to share your stream.

Streaming and watching streams are completely FREE when streaming with sidelineHD!

You have the ability to stream to several locations using sidelineHD. Follow along below to learn the best way to help viewers watch your stream at any of these streaming destinations! Want to learn more about the streaming destinations? Just click the name!

sidelineLIVE

Every team that streams on sidelineHD can have viewers watch their stream on their team's page using sidelineLIVE. on sidelineHD has a sidelineLIVE link that remains the same for every game. Share this link once with your audience and they are set! sidelineLIVE is only available to view LIVE games.

Sharing your sidelineLIVE link

Login to your sidelineHD Account
Select your Team Card
Select the Settings button at the top right of the your team page
Select Stream Settings
Select Stream Publishing
Your sidelineLIVE link is at the top of this page
There is a share button next to your sidelineLIVE feed. This link is always the same.
- Press Share to copy the link to your clipboard, and paste it into any team chat, message, or anywhere you'd like. If the stream is live, and your fans go to this page, the stream will load; if you are not live, they will be redirected to your team page.

Is my full game streamed saved to sidelineHD to be rewatched in full?

Our sidelineLIVE feed is only available while the game is live. If your team has a PRO for Teams subscription and you are both streaming and scoring the game, you can rewatch the sidelineLIVE feed from the VOD tab on the game page after the game ends.

Without a PRO for Teams subscription, the sidelineLIVE feed is only available during the live broadcast.

If you want your streams to be saved for replay at any time, regardless of whether the game is being scored, we recommend linking a YouTube channel to your team. You can also link a Facebook profile or page, but Facebook automatically deletes live videos after 30 days. When a social channel is linked to your team, your stream is simultaneously broadcast to sidelineLIVE, YouTube and/or Facebook and is automatically saved there for future viewing.

YouTube

YouTube is a great user-friendly streaming destination; providing high quality, live DVR, stream privacy settings and multiple viewing destinations (YouTube app & Smart TVs).

Just share the link to your team's YouTube page for viewers to watch the stream there!

Facebook Profile

Streaming to your Facebook profile is a great option to get streaming quickly! However, keep in mind these videos are only viewable for 30 days after the stream.

Facebook Page

Streaming to a Facebook page is a great option if you want a location your fan base can interact. However, streaming to a Facebook page does have some setup restrictions and these video are only viewable for 30 days after the stream.

Utilizing sidelineSCORE Share Option

This tool uses your phone's native share or copy/paste tool for a streamlined experience, keeping you connected to where your audience is! You can share this direct game link, YouTube link, or Facebook link anywhere!

Tap the Share button
Share the link:
- Option A: Copy Link
  1. Tap Copy Link to copy the stream or game page link to your clipboard
  2. Paste it into your desired location (team chat, group message, Facebook post, etc.)
- Option B: Share Link
  1. Tap Share Link to use your device's native share options
  2. Select the app, person, group, etc. you want to share with
    - If you cannot find the specific app you want:
      1. Swipe all the way to the left
      2. Press the More button
      3. Find and make the app a favorite
      4. Press Done to navigate back to the share menu

Facebook Groups

Facebook does not allow livestreaming to Facebook Groups. However when scoring in sidelineSCORE, by utilizing the share tool, you can share your game link and stream to an existing Facebook group.

Sharing to a Facebook Group link

Press the Share button when scoring a game in sidelineSCORE.
- If the game is live and already at it's destination (FB Page, Profile, or YT), you will see the links to the streams!
Press the Copy Link button to copy the stream link or game page link to your clipboard.
Click the Share Link button to open your devices native share menu.
In the share menu, select the Facebook app
- If you cannot find the Facebook button in the apps section:
  1. Swipe all the way to the left
  2. Press the More button
  3. Find and make Facebook a favorite
  4. Press Done to navigate back the the share menu
Once you've selected the Facebook app option, choose Groups
- This will only show if you have the Facebook app downloaded on your phone
Choose the Facebook Group
Select Post

Your stream should now be shared to your Facebook Group!
