Sometimes the scorekeeper may pick the wrong batter, causing the wrong player number to appear at the top of the screen. This article explains how to reassign the clip and how to fix issues caused by mismatched iScore and sidelineHD rosters.
At times, the scorekeeper may misidentify the batter due to a lineup error or from trying to catch up from a previous play. You can easily fix this on your own by Retagging the Clip Post Game.
However, if the player card differs from the player number on the top of the screen, this means that your iScore and sidelineHD rosters have become out of sync. While we do our best to sync rosters as players have at bats, we can get out of sync when one of the follow happens:
- The roster was edited on only the sidelineHD or iScore and not the other
- The Scorekeeper edited a jersey number or player name instead of making a player substitution
- A guest player wore the same jersey number as an existing player
- Players wasp jersey numbers
When the rosters become out of sync, the easiest way to fix this is by resetting iScore. If you have issues resetting your iScore, our Customer Care team can help you get your rosters back in sync!
