Change Camera Option

If you are still setting up and haven't connected a camera yet, check out our Choosing Your Camera article.

Changing Camera Option:

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. Select the Team Card
3. Select Settings on the right hand side
4. Select Camera Settings
   • Under Your Camera you'll see your current camera listed. 
5. Select the 3 dots on the right-hand side
6. Select Edit Camera
7. In the dropdown box, select the new camera option

     1. Select Advanced Settings  and learn how to Stream with an Unlisted Camera
8. Select Save

Your sidelineHD stream URL and stream key are the same for all 3 devices. However, to streamline your configuration process we present the RTMP configuration differently based on the device you select and we have some auto import options for Mevo that will automatically load the stream URL and stream key by using the reconfigure option.

 

Pointing Your Camera To The Correct Team:

If you have multiple teams, you and you are using an advanced camera, you will ensure your camera is pointed to the correct team before going live. Your camera connection is unique to the account not the team  or game. 


Login to your sidelineHD account

1. Select any Team Card
2. Select Settings on the right hand side
3. Select Camera Settings
   • Under Your Camera you'll see your current camera listed. 
4. Select the 3 dots on the right-hand side
5. Select Edit Camera
6. Select the drop down box for "Points to"
   • Select the Correct Team to stream to
7. Select Save

If you stream to the wrong team by accident, take the stream down, wait 5 minutes and then point the camera to the correct team, and go live again with your advanced camera/third party camera app 

A sidelineHD account can only have one Advanced camera. The RTMP Stream URL and Stream Key for that camera are unique to the team manager’s account. To add a second camera to a team, you will need invite another team manager to the team and have them setup a camera.
