In this article, we’ll walk through several scoring options for a fielder’s choice, including plays where runners can be safe or out, and situations where the play can also result in runs being scored.
We know there's a lot happening during the game and scoring a fielder's choice can be tricky sometimes. Advanced scoring makes it easy and we can walk you through it!
How to Score
- Select the Ball in Play
- Select the Fielder's Choice at the bottom of the screen under Other
- Tap where the ball was hit (if enabled)
- Select the type of ball
- Ground Ball
- Fly ball
- Line drive
- Select Continue
- Select the Defensive Players involved from the list to tag for credit
- Select Finish Play
- Select the option of what you see on the bases (Runner on 1st, runner on 1st and 2nd, bases loaded)
- Confirm what you see under What happened on this play?
- If a run scored, make sure that run is included
- Select Finish Play
SLHD TIP
If you add the opponents lineup you will be prompted to tag the opponents players when your player is out, but you can skip the tag.
If you don't enter your opponents lineup, you will only be prompted to tag players in outs when your team is fielding.
