Scoring a Double and Triple Plays

In this article, we will walk through how to score double and triple plays! 

Double and triple plays are always exciting to watch! Let's make sure you can score it correctly when the time comes! 


Scoring a Double Play

In order to score a double play there must be a runner on base and less than 2 outs.

  1. Select the Ball in Play 
  2. Select the Double Play at the bottom of the screen under Other
  3. Tap where the ball was hit (if enabled)
  4. Select the type of hit 
    • Ground Ball
    • Fly ball
    • Line drive
  5. Select Continue
  6. Select all the Defensive Players involved in getting the out from the list to tag for credit 
  7. Select Finish Play
  8. Select the option of what you see on the bases ( i.e Bases Empty)
  9. Confirm what you see under What happened on this play?
  10. Select Finish Play

Scoring a Triple Play

In order to score a triple play there must be 2 runners on base and no outs.

  1. Select the Ball in Play 
  2. Select the Triple Play at the bottom of the screen under Other
  3. Tap where the ball was hit (if enabled)
  4. Select the type of ball 
    • Ground Ball
    • Fly ball
    • Line drive
  5. Select Continue
  6. Select all the Defensive Players involved in getting the out from the list to tag for credit 
  7. Select Finish Play
  8. Select the option of what you see on the bases ( i.e Bases Empty)
  9. Confirm what you see under What happened on this play?
  10. Select Finish Play

 

SLHD TIP

If you add the opponents lineup you will be prompted to tag the opponents players when your player is out, but you can skip the tag by scrolling to the bottom and pressing skip .

 If you don't enter your opponents lineup, you will only be prompted to tag players in outs when your team is fielding.
