Quick Setup~ Stream today!

Here's what you'll need: 

• 1 device for scoring
• 1 device for livestreaming
• SidelineHD App (Apple App Store Google Play Store)

Setup Checklist:

• Create a SidelineHD Account
• Create a Team
• Add your Roster
• Schedule your Game
• Start Streaming
• Learn to Score

We'll also help show you how to Share your Stream so all of your family and friends can follow along!

Create a SidelineHD Account:

1. Download the sidelineHD app in either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
2. Select Get Started
3. Enter your Phone Number
4. You will receive a verification text. Copy and Paste this into the SLHD App. 
5. Once you are verified, you can enter your First Name, Last Name and Email. 

Congratulations! You now have a sidelineHD account! Next up, let's create your team! 

Create a Team:

1. On your Home Page, next to My Teams, select the +
2. Select the sport you are streaming for
3. Select how you want to enter your team
   • If you choose to manually create your team, select Continue with manual team entry and go to step 5
   • If you choose to import the roster via TeamSnap (or USSSA or Perfect Game for Baseball and Softball), select how you will import your roster and follow the steps on screen.
4. Fill out your team information
   • Team Picture
   • Team Name
   • Team Level
   • If your team has players under 13
5. Select Continue

Add your Roster:

1. On your new team page, select the Roster tab
2. At the bottom of the page select + Add player
3. Enter the player's information 
   • First name
   • Last name 
   • Jersey Number (Optional)
4. Optional Step Invite the Player Manager ~ Add the phone number of the players' parent/guardian and they will receive a text message to Claim their Player; ensuring they can see all their player's clips and highlights after the game.
5. Select Add
6. Select Add more
7. Continue steps 3 - 6 until you've added all your players. Once you've added the last player, select Done

Now that your team's all set up, let's schedule your upcoming game! 

Schedule your Game:

Creating a Game is vital for getting setup to Go Live. Without Creating a Game, you will not be able to Go Live. Follow these steps below to Create a Game:

1. Login to your sidelineHD account
2. Navigate to your team's Schedule page
3. Select Add Game
4. Enter the time and date
5. Enter the opponent's name
6. Enter the game title (optionalI)
7. Enter a sanctioning partner if available (optional and only available for some sports)
8. Select Create 

Start Streaming:

1. Select the Game Card you just created.
2. Select the Go Live button
3. Select the SidelineHD App
4. Select Confirm
   • This will open the camera part of the app
5. Press the Record Button (white circle) to start the stream
6. When the game is over, press the Record Button (white square) again to stop the stream

Learn to Score:

Clips and highlights are one of the best parts of streaming with sidelineHD; giving your players the ability to relive their spotlight worthy moments! 

To generate clips and highlights, you'll need to make sure to keep score so we know what happens when! 

1. On your second device, download the sidelineHD app in either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 
2. Login to your sidelineHD account
3. Click on the Team Card for your newly created team
4. On the Schedules tab of the team page, select the Game Card for your newly created game
5. Select Start Scoring

Scoring can be specific to the sport your streaming. For an in-depth scoring guide for your sport, select an article below:

Share your Stream:

A sidelinePRO subscription or sidelinePRO FOR TEAMS subscription is not required in order to stream. Streaming and viewing live games is a free feature. 

Utilize the Share Link button on the sidelineLIVE page to share the stream with other members of your community. This is a great way to post livestreams directly to Facebook
